ADC MOURA – Lead Partner

ADCMoura is a non-profit organization founded in 1993 in the municipality of Moura (Alentejo region, in the southeast of Portugal), inspired by the principles of local development, social and solidarity economy and equal opportunities. Its main goals are: to contribute to the economic competitiveness and innovation of rural and vulnerable territories; to conserve and to value natural and cultural assets; to raise environment awareness through education; to defend the equal accesss of all to social, educational, health and cultural services; to promote social cohesion and citizen’s participation.

 ADC Moura has been officially certified as a training organization since 2001 and also as a technical support entity for the creation and development of businesses since 2011. It is a member of several national and international organizations and networks in the thematic areas of social, entrepreneurial and rural development.

Associação Transfronteiriça de Municípios do Lago Alqueva is an association composed of the Portuguese municipalities of Alandroal, Barrancos, Mourao, Portel, Reguengos de Monsaraz, Serpa, Viana do Alentejo and Vidigueira and by the Spanish municipalities of Alconchel, Cheles, Olivenza and Villanueva del Fresno.

The purpose of the association is the realization of works of public interest, especially related to the use of the potential of the regolfos of Alqueva and Pedrógão; specifically it that deals with projects about, among others, the fight against pollution, the recovery and conservation of historical and natural heritage and the urban and environmental qualification.

LE TERRE DEI SAVOIA – P3

Le Terre dei Savoia is a non profit Association that gathers more than 50 municipalities, a vast area that comprises four of the Residences of the Royal House of Savoy, three of which are UNESCO world heritage sites. Its headquarter is at the Castello di Racconigi, in the town of Racconigi, Cuneo, Piedmont. Its main aim is to support and develop the cultural, natural, food and agricultural heritage of its territory. 

In 2015 Le Terre dei Savoia founded MÚSES – Accademia Europea delle Essenze, centre of its many projects. Muses is much more than a museum: its scope is to spread the knowledge and traditions of Piedmont in the domain of medicinal and aromatic plants. Its name, MÚSES, has an accent mark on the Ú to recall the shape of the mortar used by the ancient apothecaries. It is a sensorial centre which tells a unique journey among perfumes, art, history and technology.

eCONSULENZA, born in 2003, offers a wide variety of services and provides supports in the fields of communication, education, training and European projects. The Agency, seated in Torino, daily runs innovative initiatives co-financed by European Commission, EU programs or Structural Funds and local grants, for national or foreign organisations. eConsulenza Agency is running projects connected with the topics: education, social inclusion, culture, territorial cooperation, local development and tourism, health, research, citizenship topics. It managed dozens and dozens projects for different programs: Tempus, Equal, INTERREG, Daphne, eContent+, IEE, Central Europe, Europe for Citizens, Youth in Action, Leonardo da Vinci, LLP, ERASMUS+ 2014-2020, Creative Europe, MED, HEALTH, COSME, H2020.

 

Since its origins eConsulenza places itself as matching point between the academic Institutes and the labour market, in view of its strong vocation at bridging educational pathways and professional skills. eConsulenza has got large experience in organizing courses, events, workshops, tailored training pathways, both locally and internationally.

Vidzeme Planning Region (VPR) is one of five planning regions in Latvia. It is located in the northern region of Latvia. It is the largest region in the country and it features splendid nature, fresh air, extensive forests, beautiful cities and towns, and a unique cultural landscape. 

 Since 2006, it represents 25 municipalities and Valmiera a city of national significance at a national and international level. 

 VPR organizes and implements regional spatial planning, as well as regional and local representation in development of business, employment and social policy.

 The mission of VPR is to promote sustainable and well-balanced development of Vidzeme Region and to provide effective services to regional governments, businesses, NGOs and citizens for the achievement of the jointly defined development targets. VPR serves as a development platform for local governments of Vidzeme Region.

The Institute for Tourism is the only scientific public institute in Croatia specializing in research and consultancy services in tourism. Since its establishment in 1959, the Institute has evolved into an institution with a wealth of practical and professional knowledge in the development and management of tourism. The Institute bases its expertise on an extensive research programme, regular market research and environmental scanning activities as well as continuous education of its multi-disciplinary team of 20 experts and supporting administrative staff. The Institute has specialized knowledge in various areas that impact on development and management of tourism, such as economics, marketing, management, cultural heritage, transportation, environmental protection and technology. With its interdisciplinary research organization, the Institute is in a unique position of being able to respond to the diverse needs and requirements of the equally diverse tourism industry.

UNIVERSITÉ EUROPÉENNE

The University of Flavours and Scents (UESS) was founded in 2002, in the Couvent des Cordeliers in the town of Forcalquier (south of France). It is an association which includes approximately 100 members and a research and training centre in the field of aromatic and perfume plants, cosmetics and food industries. Its mains activities are Business development and skills, UESS is a professional training center which deals with training programs on cold soap making, manufacturing of natural cosmetics, regulations, Master Degrees in Sensory Analysis etc.

Culture in science and industry, UESS animates the national competitiveness cluster of Fragrances and Flavours: Public/private coordination, European projects etc. Development of traditional and local knowledge, UESS deals with workshops for the general public to raise awareness about taste and smell. Since July 2018 it manages Artemisia Museum: a place dedicated to aromatic and medicinal plants of haute Provence.

UESS is working closely with consortiums of farmers, companies and main stakeholders dealing with the cosmetic, perfume, food and tourism sectors.
